Think Twice About Buying Used Submarines
Canada bought four subs from the UK. All four have had problems. The latest one had two fires on Tuesday after being turned over on Saturday. Didn't even make it past Ireland. Canada maintains only a small naval fleet. The UK figures that its world projection requires a much larger fleet: Well over 100 ships and subs versus Canada's 34.
