Election 2004 (11.04.2004)
Someone Has Sand Up Their Crumpets
Apparently the Bush re-election hasn't played entirely well with the European press. Of course, some of them also print profiles on prostitutes bawling about how "It isn't something that you choose - it's something that happens to you." Bah. Of course, the re-election played very well among other European papers. Elsewhere, the press parroted the "worst division in 30 years" baloney. India's pro-growth Prime Minister sent his congratulations, saying it was a good sign for the war on terror. And there were some Canadians who approved of the outcome, too -- as with the Indians, partly on economic grounds. Election 2008 is on.
