Mexicans Abroad Trying to Get Vote-By-Mail Rights Before Next Mexican Presidential Election
(Spanish) Interesting, since the United States already has accommodations like that in place for Americans living abroad; we don't usually think about other democratic countries not having such a system. 98% of the estimated 11 million Mexicans living abroad are in the United States. The government there is pushing for immigration reforms, arguing (reasonably) that it's good for both countries to keep up the flow of workers, but to bring it better within the bounds of law.
