US Victory in Battle Over Control of Internet
Agreement leaves US in control of top-level-domain system. Consider it a victory over freedom-hating governments like Iran and North Korea. There's enough political pressure on ICANN already with the Department of Commerce discouraging the creation of a top-level domain (TLD) for "adult" content.
