Iran Claims It Has Enriched Uranium
Moves it to within 3-5 years of having a nuclear weapon. Domestically, Iran says it's still a while out from even being able to use its progress for energy production. Now the question becomes one of how the West will respond. Iran's President Ahmadinejad says he wants the rest of the world to apologize to Iran for "creating nuisances" and threatens that any country speaking out against Iran will be hated forever -- though he can only speak for the views of some extremists in government; the people, certainly, don't have anything much against the countries that make things like Coca-Cola, television sets, and pop music.
