North Korea tests at least six missiles
The tests don't appear to have been very successful, but now that they've been carried out, it's likely that the US will go to the UN for approval to launch airstrikes against the North Korean weapons program, and for Kim Jong-Il to purge at least part of his leadership cadre as punishment for the failures. The UN Security Council plans to discuss the situation on Wednesday.
