No one who works there is going to start calling a newsroom an "information center", so why would Gannett tell papers like the Des Moines Register to change? Few things really change at the ground level just because corporate officials declare a change of name. Interesting sidenote: The Register's website gets about 870,000 visitors per month. This site gets about 80,000, by comparison.
