Water pollution becomes a secondary consequence of California fires
Photos of San Diego in a quieter time
Things looked so bucolic eleven days ago. More-recent photos paint a different picture. The fires are so widespread, it almost looks as though San Diego is cut off on all sides. Interstate 5 is closed, and Interstate 15 is in the middle of two other fire zones, while Interstate 8 is closed to the east.
