Swine flu becomes the panic story of the hour
The CDC says there have been 12 cases of "swine flu" in the US over the last four years, prior to the reported 20 cases in the current story. That doesn't mean we should ignore it, but we should pay more attention to the fact that 1,437,180 Americans are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it kills 565,650 annually. Perspective, please.
