Primate research data suggests that chimpanzees can remember the locations of thousands of trees in the forest, with specific knowledge of how productive the different trees are and exactly which types of fruit are produced by each. It also appears that female chimpanzees may be better at this spatial recall than males. But it's a lot funnier to just imagine a monkey holding a map.
