Are we over-dramatizing the economic recession because we're wimps?
One thing is certain: There are a lot of handouts being "given" by a government that has no money to its name. And as more people come to depend upon the government, they will become more adamant about preserving those subsidies. That's not a healthy long-term approach to budgeting.
