We're starting tonight's show with some response to listener feedback. Most of your comments have been very positive, and we thank each of you for sending them in. But there are a few detractors. We've invited one in particular to join us for the show tonight, to see if we can't make a believer out of him as well.

We'll move on to a talk with Ellen Gordon of Iowa's Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division to find out what Iowa has done since the reorganization of that department out of the old Emergency Management Division. It's been two years since the USA Patriot Act was approved by Congress, so this is a good time to take stock of where we're headed.
