The Brian Gongol Show
Sunday Nights at 9:00
Newsradio 1040 WHO
This Week:
Iowa's Community Colleges cost the state about $140 million a year. Students pick up about an equal tab through tuition and fees. If the state is really, truly serious about economic growth, how about spending money to bring tuition down at the community colleges and state universities instead of spending
millions on economic development incentive packages?
Wouldn't it be great if it were a financial no-brainer to go back to school? Wouldn't that be better than spending tax money on a handful of projects that you may or may not use?
