Jargon alert
TLDs, or Top-Level Domains. You're going to see a lot more of these being pushed as companies find themselves unable to get good, original .com addresses. The .com will remain the go-to, just like an address in New York City or an (800) number. But it's a Wild West out there now, with ICANN authorizing rounds of new "gTLDs", or generic TLDs. They don't even have to include Roman characters anymore.
